Attorneys Melinda B. Kaufmann, Michael P. McKeon and Mark J. Sommaruga of Pullman & Comley’s School Law Practice will provide an in-depth view on current special education law and the latest issues affecting special education administrators. The Forum will take place Friday, November 1, 2019 from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM at The Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS), which is located at 30 Realty Drive, Cheshire, CT.
This dynamic program is designed specifically for school district special education leaders and professionals and covers current legal developments affecting this area of school law, and practical ways to comply with school district regulations. The program includes the opportunity for ample audience questions and interaction, and allows for us all to have a greater understanding of the practical application of often mysterious legal commands. The topics at the November 1, 2019 Forum will include a discussion of 2019 legislative developments, independent educational evaluations, recent court cases, Section 504, and student discipline.
Registration and breakfast will take place at 8:00 AM, and the program will run from 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM. The full agenda, expanded to reflect new legal developments, can be found here.
